Some videos of Short-toed Eagles taken in April

There are some fresh videos for April: three of them have been made with the camera installed at a nest of Short-toed Eagles in Israel /map/ by Guilad Friedemann.

April 3 : the Short-toed Eagle female is laying the egg April 5 : replacing the female with the male early in the morning April 5 : arrival of the male with prey for his mate
April 5 : a Short-toed Eagle male is «waltzing» without and with prey at his breeding site after the arrival from the wintering grounds April 11 : Short-toed Eagles are mating on a dead pine at their breeding site in the morning

The last two ones were taken from a distance in Northern Ukraine /map/ by me. Please note that all the clips are available in HD quality.

The presented video has been made by Guilad Friedemann as a compilation of various moments of his ongoing research in the Judean Foothills (Israel) /map/ for 2013. The clip takes a little time (6 minutes) to view but provides an insight into the process of the field work and into conditions of it. Also you can see beautiful scenes of local wildlife.
